DE / EN

The training as a state-certified mountain guide / certified mountain guide is regulated by law. The legal basis for the training is anchored in the ordinance of the Federal Minister of Education on the aptitude tests, final examinations and qualifying examinations at federal sports academies, StF: BGBl. II No. 351/2011.

After the successful completion of the training, depending on the state law, an application must be made to the responsible district authority for the authorization to become a state-certified mountain and ski guide.

The application for admission to the proficiency test must be submitted in good time. Please note the closing date for submission of applications to the competent authority.

A flat-rate expense allowance is payable per part of the proficiency test, regardless of whether partial tests are credited.

For the training as a mountain and ski guide costs are incurred, which include all course documents, insurance, instructor costs, etc. - the participants only have to pay for travel, accommodation/board and the necessary equipment themselves.
